Three ways to wash

Pick the bay that fits

Everything runs on the same timer system, and every bay takes a tap of your card to start. Stay as long as you like — you only pay for the time you use.

  • 2 bays

    RV & truck

Pull-through, so nothing has to be reversed into a bay. If it fits through the door, you can wash it here — no restrictions.

RV, truck & trailer · 2 bays

Pull through. Don’t back in.

Two bays built for what most washes turn away — fifth-wheels, holiday trailers, duallies, service trucks. Drive in one end and out the other, with room to walk right around it.

Rate

$1.75 per minute, $5.00 minimum.

What we’ll take

No restrictions. If it fits through the door, you can wash it here.

Starting the bay

Tap a credit or debit card at the bay, or buy a time card in the office and pay when you’re done.

Also in the bay

A vacuum and a shampooer, on the same timer.

Bringing something oversized? Call (587) 796-9274 before you set out and we’ll check it against the door for you — better than finding out at the bay.

Self-serve · 8 bays

Your car, your pace

$1.35 a minute, $2 to start, and the clock is yours. Indoors and heated, with hot water — which matters in February.

  • Presoak
  • Soap
  • Foam brush
  • Tire cleaner
  • Wax
  • Rinse
  • Spot-free rinse
  • Dryer
  • Vacuum

The undercarriage washer isn’t on the screen — select rinse or soap, pull its trigger, and the water redirects to it. Worth doing all winter to get the road salt off.

Rate

$1.35 per minute, $2.00 minimum.

The timer

Once you’re past the minimum you can stop and start again whenever you like.

  1. Pull into any open bay

Eight of them, all indoors. No queue for a single machine.

  2. Tap to start

Credit or debit, tapped at the bay and pre-authorised — you pay for the time you actually use. Prefer cash? The office sells a time card that does the same thing.

  3. Work through the screen

Start on presoak to lift the dirt, then work your way around the car. Finish on wax and the spot-free rinse, and use the vacuum and shampooer on the same clock.

Touchless automatic · 1 bay

Brand new — and nothing touches your paint

A PDQ LaserWash 360 Plus, installed new by Top Gear. An overhead arm travels the length of the car using high-pressure water and chemical only. No brushes, no cloth, no contact.

  • Turbo $12
  • Supercharged $16
  • Top Gear $22

Stay in the car. Tap a card at the bay to start, or buy an activation code in the office first — which is how you pay with cash.

The Top Gear Car Wash building on 40 Avenue with the bay doors open
Under new ownership

New owners. New equipment.

Top Gear took this location over and got straight to work. The automatic bay is brand new — a touchless LaserWash that cleans with water pressure and chemical instead of brushes — and there’s a long list of maintenance and upgrades behind it.

Same address on 40 Avenue, formerly Squeeky Kleen Car & RV Wash. Top Gear also runs washes in Red Deer, Olds and Calgary.

Why here

Built for an Alberta winter

Indoors and heated

Every bay is inside and heated, and the water is hot. You can wash a car here in January without losing a finger.

Vacuum in every bay

A vacuum and a shampooer in each self-serve and RV bay, running on the same clock as the wand — no second machine to feed.

Tap and go

Visa, Mastercard, Interac, Apple Pay or Google Pay, tapped at the bay and pre-authorised so you only pay for the minutes you use. No app, no membership, nothing to sign up for.

Cash still works

The office sells time cards and activation codes, so you can start a bay or an automatic wash and settle up with cash.

Supplies on site

Towels, air fresheners, leather and glass cleaner, stain remover and spray wax — all in the office.

Open every day

7am to 8pm, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Questions

The things people ask

Will my RV or fifth-wheel fit?

The two big bays are pull-through, so nothing has to be reversed in, and there are no restrictions on what you bring — if it fits through the door, you can wash it. If you are not sure yours will clear, call (587) 796-9274 before you set out and we will check it against the door for you.

What does it cost?

Self-serve bays are $1.35 a minute with a $2.00 minimum. The RV and truck bays are $1.75 a minute with a $5.00 minimum. The touchless automatic is $12, $16 or $22 depending on the package.

How do I pay?

Tap at the bay — Visa, Mastercard, Interac, Apple Pay or Google Pay. It pre-authorises and charges you for the time you actually use. If you’d rather use cash, the office sells time cards that start a bay, and activation codes for the automatic wash. There is no app and no membership.

Does the automatic wash use brushes?

No. It is a touchless PDQ LaserWash 360 Plus, installed new by Top Gear. It cleans with high-pressure water and chemical, and nothing makes contact with the paint.

Can I wash here in winter?

Yes. Every bay is indoors and heated and the water is hot, which is the point of washing off road salt at all.

Can I stop the timer part way through?

Once you are past the minimum you can stop and start again whenever you like. There is no mid-wash pause before that.

Are there vacuums?

A vacuum and a shampooer in every self-serve and RV bay, running on the same timer as the wand.

Is this the old Squeeky Kleen?

Same building on 40 Avenue, under new ownership as Top Gear Car Wash. The automatic bay has been replaced with a new touchless machine and the facility has had extensive upgrades.
